Trojans finish their regular season defeating Newton 8-2. Loran Nicholson struck out 11, plus had a single that drove in 2 runs. We had 9 hits. Renae Scaper had 3 singles, Kalyn Polley had 2 singles with 2 RBIs, Payton Halverson had 2 singles, & Josi Zahnd had a single.
Tough loss in 11 innings against Nevada. Loran pitched a great game with 10 strikeouts & 0 earned runs. Last out was a tough out to take as the ump said Renae pulled her foot off the bag.
Big shout out to the girls. They played with everything they had last night. We ended up a run short but we showed up to play! Great job on the mound by Loran. We had 11 hits. Renae had 3 of the hits & one was a two run homerun!
The girls showed up to play tonight! We scored 4 in the first, 3 in the second, 2 in the third & 2 in the sixth to defeat Greene County 11-1. We had 10 hits, Nicholson, Kayla Cripps, & Schaper each had 2. Nicholson was strong on the mound, allowing only 3 hits!
Girls lost two tonight. Twin Cedars got us 8-5 & Belle Plaine got a run in the 7th to beat us 5-4. Between the two games we had 21 base hits & left 18 runners stranded. Kayla Cripps had her first homerun this year against Belle Plaine.
We defeated Nevada last night 8-0. Schaper had another good night with 4 hits, one of the hits was a two run shot over right center field. deNeui, Halverson, and Morgan Cripps all had 2 hits. Nicholson got the shutout on the mound.

WM wins second game against Greene County 5-4. Renae Schaper went 4-4 with 3 singles, 1 double, & 1 RBI. Nicholson, Blocker & deNeui all added 2 hits with. Kayla Cripps & Grace deNeui each had an RBI. Blocker had 2 RBIs.
WM defeats Baxter 8 - 2 in the first game of the Rose Festival tournament. Karisa Blocker has 4 hits, & 4 RBI's, 3 of the RBI's coming from a homerun over center field fence! Nicholson got the win on the mound, giving up only 4 hits.
